Formed in 2003 as the new operating company leasing the building and some existing technology from Fylde Microsystems Ltd. Fylde Micro is responsible for all R&D, sales and support.

Fylde have been involved with MPT1327 since January 1985 helping to draft, release, and maintain the standard for over 20 years.

IP-connectivity, which Fylde support, merely provides the end to end transport for data - a small part of the system logic.
