Communications solutions for transportation
Sophisticated communication involving multiple workgroups and individuals
Trunked radio technology allows you to communicate flexibly either
with an individual, sub-group or all radios in the system. No user
will be distracted hearing messages intended for others.
Easier, more efficient fleet management
Digital & Analogue trunked radio technology
enables new features such as dispatch and GPS applications to be
easily integrated into radios and systems. You can monitor vehicle
location in real time to more easily manage your fleet. Dispatchers
can easily communicate with drivers and manage unexpected problems.
Narrow Band Communications
MPT1327 already fits in to the 12.5 Khz transmission mask so conforms to US narrow
banding legislation.
Fylde
solutions today offer the best low risk digital migration strategy.
Fylde have been planning it’s migration strategy
for many years. We guarantee we will provide interconnectivity and
upgrade routes for all our customers, allowing the interconnection
of existing and future MPT1327 based networks with newer digital standards
when equipment for these standards becomes available in 2011. More
About Digital Migration >>
Today
there is a wide range of technologies available to provide
trunked mobile voice and data solutions. Existing, new
and merging trunked radio technologies should be considered
carefully!
Our Technology sections will guide you through the various different options
MPT
1327 is a industry standard for trunked radio communications
networks. It was developed in 1988 by the British Department
of Trade and Industry (DTI), Although a British standard
it is widely used around the world and the most used trunked
radio protocol. The digital control channel provides a data
gateway that allows enhanced features including security
and subscriber verification, mobile data communications system
administration, and seamless multi-site roaming. MORE>>
Where
the Technology is today!
MPT1327
- there are no enhancements planned. The real "strength" in MPT1327 is that it is stable and static standard. Manufacturers and users
alike can be assured MPT is stable and will not change thereby
protecting investments. MORE>>
Digital
Mobile Radio (DMR) is a digital radio standard specified
for professional mobile radio (PMR) users developed by the
European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ESTI), and
first ratified in 2005. The standard is designed to operate
within the existing 12.5kHz channel spacing used in licenced
land mobile frequency bands globally and to meet future regulatory
requirements for
6.25kHz channel equivalence. MORE>>
Where the Technology is today!
DMR
- exists in Tier 1 and Tier 2 today. Tier 3 (trunking) has been
published and at least 4 manufacturers are working on equipment.
Due to the greater complexity of TDMA solutions, we expect equipment
to appear 2011.. MORE INFORMATION ON OUR DMR MIGRATION STRATEGY
dPMR
is a digital radio protocol specifically targeting highly
functional solutions by using low cost and low complexity
technology. dPMR is a narrowband (6,25 kHz) FDMA technology
that is 100% digital that offers many forms of voice and/or
data applications. The FDMA protocol specified in both TS102
490 and TS102 658 ETSI standards complies with the European
Harmonised Standard EN301 166-2 for use in 6,25 kHz channels. MORE>>
dPMR - exists in Tier 1 today. Tier 2/3 (trunking) has now being published . Equipment is likely to appear early 2011. MORE INFORMATION ON OUR dPMR MIGRATION STRATEGY
