About Fylde Micro
Fylde is a co founder and current world leader in the design, manufacture and supply of MPT1327 radio trunking networks. Fylde delivered the first ever true MPT system to British Telecom back in 1986 and installed it on the Post office tower in London. This was closely followed by the first multi site systems.
Fylde also actively contribute to the generation and implementation of the new
dPMR and DMR digital radio standards and hence are totally aware
of the complexities of implementing these standards. It is the Fylde
way to always ensure compatibility and upgrade paths for current
and new users to our systems. Fylde has been planning its migration
strategy for many years in order to guarantee interconnectivity and
upgrade paths for all our customers. This will allow the interconnection
of existing and future Fylde networks when the digital equipment
becomes available. Others have made some wild claims of upgradability
of analogue equipment to DMR recently. Time will tell whether this
can be delivered - don’t become a manufacturer’s Guinea Pig for development.
Contact Fylde now for more details on upgradeability and interconnectivity plans and equipment that exists and is proven today. More on our digital migration >> or CONTACT US>>
